Surprisingly, this stellar collab was years in the making. It was also shelved for two years before its May 2021 release. The star shared why that was and how highly anticipated this recent single drop was for him.
The emotional Instagram caption allowed WizTheMC to open his heart, and fans, up to the process of dropping this bilingual, introspective rap track. “suuuper special song just droppeed!!!! a real dream come tru. met MAJAN at a show in hamburg and a couple weeks later we were in the studio together and this was the first thing that came out. the fact that i still like it after 2 years should speak for itself but ill make it extra clear. I’ve been a fan of MAJAN for a couple of years now and to be in the same room with him was surreal but also the most normal thing at the same time because he is just like that. he’s the most downtoearth person you could possibly meet…”
He continues, writing, “just having been back in germany..it feels like this record has never been more relevant….getting in touch with your roots and being proud of them…no matter what…dont really know what the takeaway is but i really want you to listen to this one take it to your car…bedroom…moms place…anywhere..let it breathe..let it enter your world…or not…but give it a try.”
