Despite the GRAMMY Awards’ dwindling audience over the years, last year’s ceremony ranked No. 36 on Variety’s 100 Most-Watched Telecasts of 2023, and the 2024 GRAMMYs are no exception with their star-studded performance lineup. Check out the full 2024 GRAMMY nominations here.
The Recording Academy hosts the annual GRAMMY Awards to honor the “best” music of the year. The association has tapped eight accomplished musicians to wow attendees of the 66th GRAMMY Awards on Feb. 4, including SZA, Billy Joel, Olivia Rodrigo, Joni Mitchell, Dua Lipa, Travis Scott, Billie Eilish, Burna Boy, Luke Combs and U2.
SZA leads the nominee pack with a total of nine nominations, conquering all the main categories. Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo are both tied with six nominations each. Burna Boy has one up on Dua Lipa with four nominations. Travis Scott and Luke Combs earn one nomination each this year, Scott with Utopia and Combs with “Fast Car.” And, first-time GRAMMY performer Joni Mitchell is up for Best Folk Album at 80 years old.
The Daily Show host Trevor Noah will host the award ceremony (again) alongside presenters Christina Aguilera, Lenny Kravitz, Lionel Richie, Mark Ronson, Maluma, Meryl Streep, Samara Joy, Taylor Tomlinson and Oprah Winfrey.
The 2024 GRAMMYs airs on Feb. 4 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+, with earlier awards commencing at 3 p.m. ET.
