Stephen Sanchez, northern California native and TikTok prolific, has released his new single, “Until I Found You.” The 18-year-old singer-songwriter awes us again with his powerful vocals and devastatingly heartfelt lyrics. Sanchez’ Single is ’60s Reminiscent
Stephen Sanchez rose to fame through a series of TikTok posts highlighting his singing and writing abilities. Other singles such as “Lady by the Sea” and “Kayla” gained millions of views and likes on the social media site, and yet, “Until I Found You” blows them away. Sanchez’ raw, powerful vocals combined with a ’60s reminiscent beat make for a captivating listen. If that wasn’t enough, the electric guitar featured on the single is the work of Sanchez himself.
Sanchez is Quite the Romantic
In a TikTok posted to his more than 100,o00 followers, Stephen stated that “Until I Found You” is written about his girlfriend, and also features her vocals! Talk about romantic. Lyrics such as “I said, ‘I would never fall unless it’s you I fall into/ I was lost within the darkness, but then I found her / I found you,” it’s hard not to swoon. It seems Stephen Sanchez, who’s only 18 years old, has wisdom beyond his years.
Staying Positive Through Music
Stephen Sanchez is making the best out of a distressing situation. The singer-songwriter was supposed to play at Bonnaroo this past weekend, but unfortunately the festival was cancelled due to remnants of Hurricane Ida. Instead, Sanchez is focusing his efforts on promoting “Until I Found You,” and for good reason. Fans can only hope that his latest single is just one of many more to follow.
