Rōzy Rocks Houston and Beyond

Rōzy brings rock and roll from Houston, TX, and beyond. The electrifying group delivers raw emotion on the big stage with immense talent.

Rōzy rocks Houston and beyond, delivering inspiring performances for rock lovers across Texas and more.

From Summer Camp Gigs to the Big Leagues

When sisters Zoe and Molly Flores first picked up their instruments in 2011, they didn’t expect to become rock stars. Rooted in Houston’s diverse music scene, the band secured their first gig at a summer rock camp just six months after picking up their instruments.

“There was a thing called Camp Jam… we did it… and they were going to put Molly in the kid’s group so we lied and said we were in the same age,” Zoe admitted. “We kinda just kept going.”

But fast-forward more than a decade, and Rōzy, the band they built from scratch, is turning heads. The Houston band delivers a sound that’s raw and real for Texas and beyond. Rōzy is living proof that dedication, grit, sibling synergy, and some natural talent can turn garage band aspirations into full-blown stage spotlights.

Meet the Band Behind the Sound

The band’s origin story reads like the script of a new Disney film—two sisters, aged 11 and 10, falling in love with music and kinship. Zoe, the lead singer and guitarist, brings a blend of heartfelt lyrics and an unapologetic attitude to the stage, while Molly holds down the fort behind the drum kit with power and killer backing vocals.

“Our dad was a drummer, so we kinda got the musician thing going,” Molly said. “Once my mom realized I was serious, she bought me a drum set from a pawn shop.” Zoe chimed in: “I didn’t want to be left out, so I picked up guitar… and thought you had to sing if you played guitar.”

While Rōzy’s sister-duo makes for a great story, every Disney movie needs a strong supporting cast. Luckily, the Houston-based band has got it all right. The rhythm section became even tighter in 2016 with the addition of guitarist Brandon Martinez and bassist Aris Weathersby in 2023.

“When I joined, the third gig we did was Buzzfest,” Aris shared. “Afterwards, we sat down and just said, ‘Okay, we’re going to do this full time.’”

Together, the four-piece lineup has become a true force, playing every stage from local bars to major festivals. The fierce group has even shared the stage with the likes of Godsmack, Night Ranger and the Iron Maidens.

A Sound That Balances Grit and Heart

Curious about their sound? Imagine gritty modern rock with a vintage core—equally introspective and melodic as it is powerful. “Rōzy is Paramore meets Van Halen,” is the band’s go-to synopsis for new fans uncovering Rōzy for the first time. If you want to take a listen for yourself, check out their official website, where they have their top-performing songs listed.

They channel classic influences but deliver them with a fresh twist that connects to new generations. Whether they’re shredding on guitar or pushing vocal limits, Rōzy isn’t afraid to be loud, bold, and unapologetic.

And clearly, fans are here for it.

Talent Shows to Tour Dates

From early wins like Wharton’s Got Talent (an incoming MBA student talent show) and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Rockstar competition, Rōzy has certainly made a name for themselves. They even landed a spot on the 2015 Vans Warped Tour and performed at the So What?! Music Fest.

While founded and based in Houston, Rōzy has proven time and time again that they’re not just a local band—they’re a dynamic group ready to join the rock movement.

Add in Buzzfest, WSL Super Girl Surf Pro, and the first-ever Houston Super Bowl LIVE, and it’s clear: these four musicians are ready for bigger stages and crowds. You can help them achieve this by voting for Rōzy’s return to the Warped Tour stage here!

More Than Music—It’s a Lifestyle

At their core, Rōzy isn’t just formed on a shared love for music—it’s the energy and community that comes with it. The band tells stories that matter to people, whether it’s of relatable heartbreak, healing or hope.

“We can’t do this without people enjoying it. We can do this all we want but if people don’t enjoy it, we’re not going to go anywhere. So to have people to come out and support or even seeing people in the back bobbing their head, it’s nice to see that we’re doing something good. And we’re just so grateful! We just hope you enjoy the continuing evolution of Rōzy and all of its facets,” Zoe said.

See Them Now or Hear About It Later

If you’re into bands that mean what they play, this is a group you won’t want to miss out on. It’s only a matter of time before they blow up—so now’s your time to hop on the train before it leaves the station.

Oh—and keep your eyes peeled: Rōzy drops a new single, “Sweetheart,” on April 25, 2025.
