French DJ Petit Biscuit just released a new remixed version of his 2020 album Parachute. It includes remixes by Diplo, Big Gigantic, Jai Wolf, and more.
Parachute Remixes Features EDM Stars From All Over
Parachute Remixes crosses over into various electronic/dance genres as he blends styles. From the driving energy of Malaa’s take on “Pick Your Battles” with Diplo, to Tony Romera’s down-and-funky remix for title track “Parachute,” and into the dazzling atmospheres Jai Wolf creates with “Drivin Thru The Night,” the Parachute Remixes LP is bursting with lush productions.
Petit Biscuit shared, “Parachute is something I am really proud of. I wanted to take the same care for the remixes for each song on the album. Artists and friends that I love remixed the entire Parachute album. Every remix is different from one another, to show how rich the electronic music scene is. I want to thank everyone for having brought your touch to make the Parachute Remixes album a more than great one!”
The Art of Adding Different Twists
The first track in Parachute Remixes is also the one that gives the album its name. “Parachute” was remixed by EDM duo Big Gigantic, who give the song just the right twist to make us dance. Petit Biscuit commented, “I’ve seen Big Gigantic in many festival line ups without actually getting to see them live… something I really want to do. This remix is all I was hoping for when I asked Big Gigantic to make one. Parachute now has plenty of groove and their instrumental brings more happiness to those serious lyrics. When we can tour again, I swear I’ll see them live!”
Jai Wolf is another EDM genius who gives this album his touch in “Drivin Thru The Night.” About the collaboration, Biscuit shared, “The first time I met Jai Wolf was in the US during the Sasquatch Music Festival, 2 years ago. I’m happy how the remix turned out. It gets that Jai Wolf’s signature and energy and brought back even more of that ‘late-night drive’ feeling that I was searching for when I created ‘Drivin Thru The Night.’”
