All Is Not OK In The Arconia
Just when you think the dust has settled in the Arconia, a killer strikes again. In season 2, viewers follow Mabel, Charles, and Oliver as they investigate the murder of Bunny, the head of the Arconia. Through a series of twists and turns, we come to find out that Bunny’s killer was none other than Cinda Canning’s assistant, Poppy. Or, rather, the mysterious Becky Butler. Everything appears to be wrapped up until the last few minutes of the finale. In yet another twist, Paul Rudd’s newly introduced character, Ben Glenroy, drops dead in the midst of starring in Oliver’s Broadway production. This is the first time that viewers had seen Rudd in the show, but it appears it won’t be the last time. Season 3 is rumored to pack quite the punch, especially in the casting.
Getting to Know The Killer Cast in ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Season 3
So, we already know a tidbit about Paul Rudd’s character, Ben. The most important fact being that he is the victim that season 3 revolves around. However, fans of Only Murders have been left with many questions and theories since season 2’s finale. Rudd was already a shocking appearance in the hit TV show, but next season will provide the much-needed answer to the question: “Who is Ben Glenroy?” And Paul Rudd isn’t the only character coming in to shake things up.
In a sneak peek into the next OMITB season, Selena Gomez, who plays Mabel, posted a TikTok that revealed Meryl Streep will be starring in the show. Sadly, we don’t know who she will be playing just yet. Maybe she is another resident at the Arconia. Or perhaps a new love interest for Steve Martin’s character, Charles. Whatever the role, we can’t wait to see what Streep has in store.
Another confirmed star includes Emily in Paris’ Ashley Park, who will be playing Kimber. She will be acting as a fellow Broadway ingenue in the upcoming season. And lastly, Grey’s Anatomy’s Jesse Williams has also been confirmed to join the cast. Rumor has it, he will be giving Tina Fey’s character, Cinda Canning, a run for her money as a documentarian.
With such a killer cast for the upcoming season, there’s no doubt Only Murder will produce yet another amazing chapter for the TV series. Only Murders in the Building streams on Hulu every week on Tuesdays during each season. Though there is no set release date for season 3, we are expecting the murder mystery to come back sometime this summer.
