NCT Dream Releases Sweet EP, ‘Candy’

On Dec 16, South Korean K-Pop iconic band NCT Dream released their new holiday-themed EP, Candy. It didn’t take long for the album to become one of the most fast-selling and successful albums of this winter!

If Christmas wasn’t already sweet enough, South Korean iconic band NCT Dream decided that this year they would help make it even sweeter. On Dec 16, only few days before the holidays, the k-pop band released their latest project, the Christmas themed Candy. With its six singles, the album soon became one of fans’ favorites all over the world.

The main track from the mini album is undoubtedly “Candy.” With its over 1 million plays in only two days, the is a remake of SM Entertainment boy band H.O.T.’s single. “Candy” was a mainstream hit for the boy band when it was first released in 1996, and with this week’s copies sold, it proved to be an everlasting success.

The album also includes “Graduation,” “Tangerine Love,” and “Walk With You.”

NCT Dream‘s new album, Candy is set to be one of the band’s greatest and most appreciated. In fact, not only fans loved it, it’s is their favorite!

According to South Korean music chart system Hanteo, the album became the group’s highest-selling album in first-week sales. With its over 761,609 copies sold on the first day of release, Candy broke the band’s personal record. Their latest success surpassed the 703,700 copies of NCT Dream’s previous full-length album, Glitch Mode.

But the record wasn’t only personal. The band has indeed reached the number 1 position on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 16 different countries. It all after only few hours from the release! These include Australia,Belarus, Denmark, Cambodia, Chile, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Philippines, Russia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam.
