Morgan Evans is Touring the U.S. This October

After kicking off the Life Upside Down Tour in his homeland of Australia, country music artist Morgan Evans extends the party to the United States.

The Life Upside Down Tour promotes the artist’s EP of the same name. The EP is a 5 track release including a live version of “Over For You.” That song is Morgan Evans’ biggest hit and for a big reason. It is a heartbreaking ballad about his recent divorce from fellow country artist Kelsea Ballerini. After five years of marriage, it’s over, and Evans isn’t afraid to wax poetic about it. He’s so unafraid, in fact, that he released a five-part docuseries on Youtube about the making of the song. 10-minute episodes each chronicling one man’s journey through divorce and songwriting. It is vulnerable, but the best artists aren’t concerned about showing vulnerability.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Morgan Evans said the following about the docuseries: “The whole idea was to document the biggest show of my career, playing the CMC Rocks Festival in Australia and headlining it. The original focus was on the music and coming home, and that’s what it’s about. But it’s not like I could pretend like something wasn’t going on. That’s the journey of what happened in that moment of my life.”
