Mike Dean and His Birthday: A Psychedelic Night with Travis Scott & The Weeknd

It was HIS birthday, but Mike Dean decided to go another way and be the one who gives presents to others.

Mike Dean and His Birthday Surprise

On Friday (March 1), Dean put on a special birthday show. He played a 14-song gig at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles, with two very special guests. The Weeknd & Travis Scott (with whom he recently collaborate for “CIRCUS MAXIMUS” contained in the 2023 album UTOPIA) were in attendance to serve as onstage guests.

The Weeknd’s Unreleased Surprise

The Weeknd himself opened with his synthy version of “In Heaven (Lady in the Radiator Song)” from the David Lynch movie Eraserhead.

Abel also sang “Take Me Back To LA” (not to be confused with “Escape From LA“). He first performed the song in 2020. It’s become a fan favorite during live shows. However, it has yet to be officially released.

Later that night, Travis Scott joined the Mike Dean/The Weeknd duo onstage to perform their collaborative track, “CIRCUS MAXIMUS.” He then closed out his appearance with “Fe!n.”

It was a “mind blowing night” full of psychedelic sounds and vibes typical of Dean and his shows.
