Machine Gun Kelly Posts “Mainstream Sellout” Tracklist

Machine Gun Kelly Announces Tracklist

Machine Gun Kelly took to social media on March 13th to announce the tracklist to his upcoming album, Mainstream Sellout. The rapper-turned-punk wore 16 different outfits from Dolce & Gabbana, each baring a song title. He posted a compilation of the outfits and songs to his Twitter and Instagram.

Star-Studded Features

Even though fans thought his first pop-punk album, Tickets To My Downfall, couldn’t be topped, his Mainstream Sellout features say otherwise. MGK lists his collaborators, including blackbear, Lil Wayne and Iann Dior. Blackbear and Machine Gun Kelly created the hit track “my ex’s best friend” last year.

“Maybe” with Bring Me The Horizon

Kelly, known for his work with Blink 182’s Travis Barker, also adds other emo-punk stars to his album. Bring Me The Horizon, one of the most notable metal bands, is featured on “maybe.” The track dropped March 16th and precedes Mainstream Sellout, which drops March 25th. The alt-punk track features Oliver Sykes’ vocals and backing screams, and the pair compliment each other well.

Previous Tracks

Machine Gun Kelly had already released two more tracks, “emo girl” featuring WILLOW and “ay!” featuring Lil Wayne. Both tracks are infectious and fun, and “emo girl” has already gone viral on TikTok. Lil Wayne is featured twice on the album, though fans must wait until the album drops to know which song. You can watch music videos for both “emo girl” and “ay!” below.

Mainstream Sellout Will Be a Hit

Mainstream Sellout is, obviously, set to be a hit album. Fans of the genre-switching artist are already hyped for the album. Its features just make this project even better. If his first few singles are any indication, Mainstream Sellout is a pop-punk mastery. Machine Gun Kelly proves that he can switch genres with ease, from rap to alternative and back.
