Luke Bryan & Peyton Manning to Co-Host CMA Awards

The Country Music Association and the ABC network announced that country singer Luke Bryan and NFL superstar Peyton Manning will host The 56th Annual CMA Awards.

Luke Bryan Hosts For the Second Year in a Row

Country fans, gather up! This year, the CMA Awards will be hosted by a very unlikely yet exciting pair, Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning! Luke himself revealed the news while guest hosting Live with Kelly and Ryan on August 1st. He couldn’t be a better fit for the role, as he has already been chosen two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year in previous years. Also, he hosted the event in 2021! So this will be the second year in a row that he takes on the privilege.

The CMA Awards this year will take place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Again, another great choice, as Nashville is the home of country music! When is the event, you may ask? It’s on Wednesday, November 9 from 8-11 pm ET/delayed PT and you can watch it live on ABC.

Football Legend Peyton Manning Will Join Him

“Being a part of such a historical night that honors my peers and Country Music is such a privilege,” Luke says. “When I was asked if Peyton Manning was someone I would consider co-hosting with I didn’t hesitate. We have become great friends through the years and what he brings to the table is gonna make it even more of a blast. I know he’s been to the CMA Awards before, but he’s never been with me. Hey Peyton, I hope you’re ready for the night of your life!”

“I cannot wait to head to Nashville and take the CMA Awards stage alongside my friend Luke Bryan,” Peyton added. “I am such a huge fan of Country Music, so to have the chance to stand among so many incredibly talented artists is an absolute honor.”

Last year, Luke made history as the first solo host in 18 years since Vince Gill hosted between 1994 to 2003.
