Lady A is Cheerful on “Summer State Of Mind”

Country music group Lady A released its latest single “Summer State Of Mind,” its first song of the year.

Lady A Get on a “Summer State Of Mind”

Lady A is ready for the summer. “Summer State Of Mind” will definitely be a song you will want to play while chilling on the beach with your friends. It’s just as great for chilling at home while enjoying the summer vibes.

“Summer State Of Mind” is a cheerful track that resembles the summer perfectly.  The song talks about just being happy and not having a worry in the world. Simply put – it invites you to enjoy life (and summer) to the fullest. “You put the Ray-Bans over my eyes. You put the blue back up in my sky. I’m the beach, you’re the freezer, you put me in my summer state of mind,” are some of the lyrics.

“When we got together and wrote this song a few months ago it almost started writing itself,” Hillary Scott said in a press release. “We were all looking ahead to the warmer months and those easygoing moments that we enjoy most. When we had a chance to perform the song for the first time during CMA Fest, the fans really got in the spirit – it was the perfect way to kick off the summer.”

New Album + Upcoming Tour This Fall

“Summer State Of Mind” arrives as Lady A’s first song of the year. Nevertheless, they were intensely busy last year as they released their new studio album What A Song Can Do in October, and joined forces with Russell Dickerson just a month later for “Home Sweet.”

Additionally, in April, they announced their upcoming Request Line Tour, which will kick off on August 13 in Nashville and will have special guest Dave Barnes accompanying the band throughout the entire tour. Their run will conclude on October 29 in Indianapolis, and will stop by bit cities like Atlanta, Memphis, Philadelphia, and Dallas among others. Check out the full list of dates down below!
