KAROL G Celebrates the Single Life in “SEJODIOTO”

Colombian reggaeton star KAROL G is back with a brand new single! The empowering “SEJODIOTO” arrives after the singer’s newest album KG0516, released in March.

Karol G is Back Better Than Ever With “SEJODIOTO”

The song arrives after the news that Karol and her longtime boyfriend, Anuel AA, were parting ways back in April. “SEJODIOTO” embraces her single life, as the song talks about enjoying other relationships without putting a label on them.

“In Miami on a motorcycle. If the suit goes up, I was seen. All day in my business, I was turned on. They left me alone and everything got screwed up. I turn on the Ferra and take off from the ground. Make love to me, not war. That my b*tches are waiting for me at the disco,” she sings in Spanish.

Ovy On The Drums jumps in as the producer for “SEJODIOTO.” The song mixes fresh sounds with the traditional beats of reggaeton and hip-hop that characterize it. The music video takes us to Los Angeles; directed by Collin Tilley who directed the videos for “Bichota” and “Location.” On this occasion, he took Karol G with her friends on a tour of the city and the desert. Combined with sensual images of the singer dancing on her motorcycle and later with her group of dancers, culminating this trip in a club. Through his images, this director manages to reflect the power and freedom in each one of the scenes, without the need to have a boyfriend next to her.

Karol G has been the talk of the reggaeton world for a while now. Last year, she released the megahits “Tusa” and “BICHOTA” which both surpassed the amazing number of 1 billion streams across all platforms.
