Karol G Announces ‘Mañana Será Bonito’ Tour

Amid GQ Mexico drama, Colombian pop star Karol G announces her first-ever stadium tour for her fourth album, Mañana Será Bonito. The summer tour will 10-show run from August to September, starting in Chicago for Lollapalooza and returning again to New York City for an epic finale at MetLife Stadium. Check out ‘Mañana Será Bonito’ tour dates and information here.

The album title (“Tomorrow Will Be Beautiful”) is a personal message for the artist. “The name of the album is a phrase I kept repeating to myself when nothing felt great,” Karol told Rolling Stone. “Every day I’d say to myself, ‘It’s okay, Tomorrow will be beautiful’. In a later interview with The New York Times, she described the album as “more Carolina than Karol G,” a more piqued sense of homecoming and self-healing.

The album garnered 35 million first-day sales, breaking Spotify’s biggest debut for a Spanish-language album by a woman, previously held by Rosalía’s Motomami. Mañana Será Bonito‘s tracks collected a total of 118.73M on-demand audio streams in its first week.

With her No.1 debut on the Billboard 200 album chart, she joins reggaetón master Bad Bunny as the only other artist to have led the chart with an all-Spanish album. Bad Bunny first led the chart with 2020’s El Ultimo Tour del Mundo, then again with 2022’s Un Verano Sin Ti.

Karol’s show-stopping collaboration with Latin icon Shakira “TQG” earned the biggest debut for a female collaboration in YouTube History with nearly 39.5M views in 24 hours.

Karol G Calls Out GQ Mexico For ‘Disrespectful’ Photo Edits

Last month, Karol G graced the cover of GQ Mexico with a power stance. However, something was off. In a two-picture Instagram post appreciating the feature, the artist advocated against the magazine’s many unapproved post-production ‘edits.’

Soon after Karol’s post, GQ Mexico took down their Instagram post of the cover amid fan and celebrity backlash.

“Today my GQ magazine cover was made public, a cover with an image that does not represent me. My face doesn’t look like that, my body doesn’t look like that and I feel very happy and comfortable with how I look naturally.”
