Jeremy Zucker and Chelsea Cutler show ‘how you fall in love’ with single

The Duo

We are nearing the season of heart eyes and ‘I love you’s, and Zara Larsson isn’t the only person wanting to talk about love. Jeremy Zucker and Chelsea Cutler are together to start 2021 with new single “this is how you fall in love”. The two young pop singers saw previous success from their 2019 joint EP: brent. The musicians found fame in 2017 after Zucker’s “talk is overrated” and Cutler’s “Your Shirt” gained traction.

Their debut collaboration “better off” came out in 2018 and proved the two’s

vocal charm and writing chemistry. Since then, both artists debuted albums, Zucker with love is not dying and Cutler’s How to Be Human. The soft folk-pop atmosphere in their styles definitely

make for some tear jerking songs.

Released on Jan. 15, the single, “this is how you fall in love” keeps on that same path with simplistic melodies on top of carefully chosen words.  The song describes what love looks like and how fear gets in the way until we decide to let go.

The video depicts the escape of reality to a life where only two people exists. Two friends find joy in moments of adventure and intimacy. The song has nostalgic vibes and a peaceful harmony of vocals that make it hard not to fall in love.

In a recent interview about the single Chelsea Cutler said, “this is how you fall in love’ is easily one of my favorite songs Jeremy Zucker and I have written together. We knew as soon as we wrote it that it felt really special. it really shows the direction of the project and the growth since brent.”

Jeremey Zucker added, “Writing ‘this is how you fall in love’ was a ton of fun for us. As on the nose and cliché as it sounds, it’s a song we imagine people in love slow dancing to.

“this is how you fall in love” is the first single to be released off of Zucker and Cutler’s second EP “Brent II” dropping on February 5, 2021.
