Iann Dior Drops ‘You Don’t Even’

Rapper and singer Iann Dior is releasing his latest single “You Don’t Even” two days after his tour begins. Back in August, Iann Dior released a brief statement regarding the upcoming single.

“Update: I’ve been working really hard on the new music that’s coming soon. Taking some time to appreciate life/focusing on my health. I don’t know what I would do without you guys and all the love you give me I can’t think you enough.”

The rapper and singer is best known for his 2020 hit single “Mood,” which was a collaboration with 24kGoldn. The song made it to number one on the Billboard Hot 100. It is Iann Dior’s first and highest-charting song to date. Who knows, maybe “You Don’t Even” will take its place.

Introducing Iann Dior

Iann Dior, aka Michael Ian Olmo, was born on March 25, 1999. He is a Puerto Rico native and the son of Tommy and Anabelle Olmo. He graduated high school in May 2017. In interviews, he describes his music tastes growing up as consisting primarily of rap. However, he stated that his mom introduced him to Spanish music, mainly the musical stylings of Marc Anthony. Meanwhile, he described how his dad is a Jay-Z fan as well as a fan of rock bands, including The Fray.

Iann Dior isn’t just a big fan of music icons, he’s also worked with them. In an interview for GRAMMY.com, he described working with Travis Barker.

“Every time we work with Travis, it’s a no-brainer. That’s who I go to for any of my rock music because he really taps in on the sound, and blending it with rap is something I really like to do. And Travis was one of the first people to be like, “Ok, I understand where you’re trying to go with this.” When we made “Sick and Tired” [in 2020] — that song was the perfect hybrid of rock and rap.”

Tickets for Iann Dior’s tour are available via Ticketmaster.
