Earlier this month, a few days after releasing his latest single, Hozier participated in The Game Awards to present his latest “Blood Upon the Snow.”

Violins and nordic rhythms make Hozier’s latest single special. His powerful, deep voice found its place in “Blood Upon The Snow” and in the heroic, addictive soundtrack of action-adventure game God of War Ragnarok. Released worldwide on Nov 9, 2022 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, God of War Ragnarok was developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Released in collaboration with American musician and film composer Bear McCreary, Hozier’s new work “Blood Upon The Snow is a battle hymn absorbed in strong, mythological sounds.

Last Friday, the artist went to the The Game Awards to perform his new composition and present the new game. Together with the Irish musician, The Game Awards and Bear McCreary performed the soundtrack.

Unreal Unearth

We will never stop manifesting Hozier’s new album, Unreal Unearth. Promised at the end of 2021 as a gift to fans for New Year’s, the album is in the making. Hopefully, it will arrive soon.

“Want to wish you all a happy, peaceful and safe end to 2021.

I’m so grateful for the continued support and I hope I get to thank some of you in person while touring the next chapter… ‘Unreal Unearth’ will start to find its way to your ears next year, come hell or high water.”

To calm our impatient hearts, in October the artist returned with his latest single, “Swan Upon Leda.”  Taken from Unreal Unearth, “Swan Upon Leda” is a promising song, and not only for how beautiful, deep and touching it is, but also because it certainly means that it can’t take long from the album’s release. In fact, since 2019’s Wasteland, Baby!, Hozier has released only one other single. However, the single is a house/dance song in collaboration with Italian electronic group Meduza – far from Hozier’s usual work. Surely we appreciate an artist that explores different genres, but this is nothing close to what fans were expecting. And it definitely isn’t an album.

But knowing Hozier, we’re sure this long wait will be worth it!

Wait with us for Hozier to drop his third album by following our page and social accounts!
