As the NCAA Men’s Final Four comes to a climax from April 4-6, 2025, San Antonio is set to host the March Madness Music Festival at Tower Park in Hemisfair. This free, three-day festival promises an exciting blend of top-tier dunks and musical performances to remember.

Friday, April 4: AT&T Block Party

AT&T’s Block Party will be kicking off the weekend with an eclectic lineup of stars in the music industry:

  • Pitbull: The Grammy Award-winning artist, known for hits like Fireball, Hotel Room Service, and more, is sure to energize the crowd with his signature performances.
  • Doechii: Fresh off of her first Grammy win for Alligator Bites Never Heal, the breakout artist continues to dominate. Her goofy but high-energy character will provide a dynamic presence to the big stage.
  • Ravyn Lenae: The R&B singer-songwriter will open the evening with soulful melodies to kick back to before the intense games begin.

Gates should open at 4:30 p.m., with performances running until 10 p.m.

Saturday, April 5: Coca-Cola LIVE!

The festivities continue with Coca-Cola LIVE!, beginning at 3 p.m. The event showcases a diverse mix of genres that will certainly please all types of music enthusiasts.

Sunday, April 6: Capital One JamFest®

To no surprise, NCAA is saving the best for last:

March Madness Music Festival Details and Tips

Good news! The March Madness Music Festival is free and open to all, operating on a first-come, first-served basis. Gates open at 7 a.m. each day, with no overnight camping permitted. Attendees are encouraged to use public transportation or rideshare services due to limited parking options. As expected, a clear bag policy is in effect and it’s worth glancing at the official NCAA website to see additional guidelines.

The Best of Music and Basketball

The March Madness Music Festival has a rich history of hosting renowned artists. In 2016, it was Kendrick Lamar. In 2015, it was Rihanna. This year is no downgrade. The lineup continues the tradition of providing a stage for big names to complement the excitement and star power of the Final Four tournament. As basketball fans clammer to San Antonio to witness the best competitors in the NCAA on the biggest stage, the festival offers an exciting celebration for both sports enthusiast and music lovers alike.
