Dance Fever (Live At Madison Square Garden)
Dance Fever (Live At Madison Square Garden) is a 24-track album with new and old songs. Florence + The Machine have just dropped this live concert album from their tour stop at Madison Square Garden.
Florence + The Machine performed most of the songs off of their newest album, Dance Fever. They sang “King,” “Free,” and “Choreomania.” They also sang “Cassandra,” “Heaven Is Here,” and “Daffodil,” “My Love,” “Restraint,” “Morning Elvis,” and more.
The band also performed beloved oldies and other fan favorites. After opening the show with “Heaven Is Here” and “King,” they sang the powerful “Ship To Wreck.” Near the end of the concert, Florence + The Machine sang their debut single, “Kiss With A Fist.” They also sang “Big God,” “What Kind Of Man,” and many others.

The Creative Process
According to Will Richards at NME, Florence Welch, the front woman for Florence + The Machine, released a statement about the creation of Dance Fever (Live At Madison Square Garden).
“For an album that was so much about performance, the possession of it, the love-hate relationship with life on the road. And the ensuing grief when I thought it may never happen again. To get out to perform these songs has been the most extraordinary experience. The connection with the audience and the catharsis is at a level I have never experienced before,” Welch says.
“Maybe it’s because we all missed it so much. But people are bringing so much of themselves to these shows, I wanted to have a memory of ‘Dance Fever’ live. As a testament to this time, and a full circle moment. For an album so much about the loss of live music. To have a recording of the return means so much to me,” she also states.
