Last Friday, one of the biggest female artists, Doja Cat, dropped music along with an announcement of something big coming. The Grammy-Nominated artist has been taking the last two years by storm and she’s ready to keep the streak going.
Last week Doja Cat release the song and music video for “Need To Know“. The song is a chill banger that features the R&B/Pop singer showing her Hip-Hop side. Doja comes with some great bars and melodies to keep the whole song fun and never boring.
The overtly sexual song takes a more futuristic take on Doja in the music video as well. It features the star as a alien in a future full of flying cars and holograms. But the nightlife we see is not too different than the one we know now, people are still looking for fun with plenty of strangers.
The whole idea of this for the music video stems from the concept of Doja Cat’s new upcoming album.
Doja Cat’s World
After her crazy music video released, Doja Cats also announced that her third studio album Planet Her is in the final stages of production. For now, the album is set to release this June 25.
In addition to the announcement, Doja also released the track-list and features. Planet Her will have all-star appearances from Young Thug, Ariana Grande, JID, and The Weeknd.
After blowing up in 2021 with her sophomore album Hot Pink, many critics are expecting a lot from the the musician that
has made more of her songs go viral than anyone else.
There is no stopping her either. Doja Cat is set to stat performing this year at the Austin City Limits Festival in October. From there, you might want to start planning your 2022. In March of next year, Doja plans on stating her Hot Pink World Tour as well with the first stop in ATL.
