At only 15 years old, Caroline Romano took a leap of faith and dropped her first single, “Masterpiece.” Now, six years later, she is climbing to new heights—especially with her latest track, “Doesn’t Matter.”

Music Daily Discovery: Caroline Romano

Joining the ranks of artists like Gracie Abrams and Lizzy McAlpine, Caroline Romano is yet another promising female entrant to the world of music. She shares many of the characteristics of Abrams and McAlpine that are the foundations of a great artist. Caroline’s distinct voice, years of experience and great storytelling indicate a strong artist with a lot to say. Her most notable success can be found in “I Still Remember (ft. R3HAB),” where Romano brushed the Billboard chart for dance music. It seems a revisit to the charts is long overdue with her latest release, “Doesn’t Matter.”

“Doesn’t Matter” is exactly as Caroline describes—a confessional on the thrills of romance. With it, you’re letting your heart aimlessly guide you. It’s a soft retelling of an all-encompassing love that is blinding and intoxicating. And, it’s about facing the reality that sometimes the risk of giving someone your heart is overshadowed by the reward, no matter how fleeting. In this way, Romano hits the mark of encapsulating complex feelings into simplicity. It’s a magic-in-a-bottle track. If you’ve never heard of Caroline before, then let this be the track that introduces you to her. Listen down below:
