Carlos Santana collapsed due to heat exhaustion and dehydration
Tuesday night 74-year-old legendary musician Carlos Santana collapsed on stage, leaving fans in a state of fear for the safety and health of their music idol. Multiple staff members and medical personnel reached the artist on stage to offer him help.
The incident occurred at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Detroit during the artist’s Miraculous Supernatural Tour. At the show, the band Earth, Wind & Fire performed as well.
Santana was then taken to an “emergency department” at McLaren Clarkston medical center “for observation and is doing well”. He later used Facebook to thank people for their “precious prayers” and said that he was “just taking it easy.” The artist also mentioned that he was “so dehydrated” that he “passed out.”

Six dates postponed
With a Facebook post, Team Santana announced that the legendary guitarist needed to postpone the six dates of Miraculous Supernatural Tour.
“Doctor’s have recommended that Mr. Santana gets rest to recuperate fully, ” Michael Vrionis, President, Universal Tone Management said.
“I regret to inform you that the Santana band has postponed tonight’s show at Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana. And, we are postponing the July 9 show at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio; July 10 at American Family Insurance Amphitheater – Summerfest Grounds in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; July 12 at Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion in Rogers, Arkansas; July 15 at Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, Texas; July 16 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Woodlands, Texas.”
Live Nation will announce the rescheduled show dates. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates.
