BJ The Chicago Kid Keeps Things ‘Smooth’ With New Single

Last week, R&B soul artist BJ the Chicago Kid dropped a new single that is undoubtedly a smooth track. “Smooth” is the latest song from the Chicago native and it carries the same soulful swagger that we always hear from him.

With a super catchy chorus and chilled-out beat, BJ the Chicago Kid creates a purely R&B love song. The record’s production is on point and the jazzy drums that mix with airy guitars makes for a real vibe. BJ the Chicago Kid makes the song his own with his effortless and laidback signature singing.

In addition to the song, BJ the Chicago Kid has been busy this year churning out music for fans. Before this, back in September, he release a highly acclaimed feature on a track with Vic Mensa titled “THE TASTE.” He also has a live version of the song “Skin Deep” that he did with EJ Jackson the same month.

And as far as projects go, BJ the Chicago Kid released a new EP as well. The project 4 AM is a four-song bundle that features appearances from Eric Bellinger and Lucky Daye. For the most part, this release was under the radar, but still had its fair share of gems with the hit song “Love You Slow.”

BJ the Chicago Kid Is A Music Veteran

He is best known for his critically acclaimed album In My Mind, as well as his collaborations with artists like Chance the Rapper, Kanye West, and Kendrick Lamar.
