Billie Eilish Is No “Lost Cause”

Second studio album

Billie Eilish shared her fourth single from her upcoming album, Happier Than Ever. “Lost Cause” is one of the eight-time-Grammy Award-winning artist’s few self-directed videos.  Released less than a week ago, “Lost Cause” has already amassed almost 30 million views on YouTube.  Expect this to increase since since Eilish usually sees around 100 million to 200 million views on her music videos.

A New Era of Eilish

After announcing her 2022 World Tour last week for her upcoming album, Happier Than Ever, Billie Eilish proved she was no  “Lost Cause,” with fans.  This video is unlike the typical Billie Eilish gothic-style-clothing-vibrant-hair-colors that fans are used to. “Lost Cause” stars Eilish with ash blonde hair, a warm natural makeup look, styling a neutral lounge set. Eilish and her dancers are just simply having fun and kicking back on a night in with the girls. Setting the tone for her upcoming album, with similar video aesthetics on “Lost Cause” and “Your Power”, which was released in April, sure has me wondering what Eilish has in store for us. It seems like a new Era of Eilish is upon us. Happier Than Ever is her “favorite thing [she’s] ever created,” according to WMagazine.

Fans Will Soon be Happier Than Ever

The 16 track Happier Than Ever, is Eilish’s second studio album releasing July 30th on Darkroom/Interscope Records. Four  singles from this upcoming album have been released including  “my future,” “Lost Cause,” Your Power,” and “Therefore I Am,”.

New World Tour

Almost a month after announcing her new album, Eilish went to Instagram to announce her 2022 Happier Than Ever World Tour. Starting in LA and ending in Switzerland, Eilish will be stopping at 52 different venues along the way. Presale tickets went on sale on May 26th, and standard sale began on May 28th. Unfortunately, for those of us that missed the announcement, most venues have been sold out. Only a select few are still open to purchase tickets from, which you can find on https://www.billieeilish.com/tour.
