Reggaeton superstars Becky G and KAROL G joined forces for a new empowering track. “MAMIII” celebrates women and encourages them to be strong.
Becky G & KAROL G Invite Women to be Strong and Independent
“MAMIII” arrives via Kemosabe Records/RCA Records. The long-awaited collab has been requested by fans for years, and they finally got it! This is not the first time they worked together on a project, though. Back in 2018, the pair got together for Mau & Ricky’s song “Mi Mala,” and since then, they had wanted to collaborate again. And it finally happened! So, what could happen when the two legendary “Gs” unite on the same track? The answer is clear – magic.
“MAMIII” is an up-tempo Reggaetón party track inspiring a feel-good attitude of strength, confidence, and independence. In the song, Becky and Karol sing about a man who wasn’t the right one for them and used to always have a toxic attitude toward them.
“Don’t call me again, I even threw my cellphone away. From how toxic you are, it became harmful. What goes away, goes away. Don’t make that mistake with me. You are so toxic, I don’t want to see you anymore,” they sing together in the chorus.
Becky is Happy to Work With Karol
“I’ve always said that together, were are stronger,” Becky shared. “When women unite and work together, we’re able to create a meaningful and lasting impact. Karol and I had been waiting for this moment for a while, but we knew the song had to be perfect and represent both of our spirits and hearts. I am so glad that we were finally able to record ‘MAMIII’ and bring our fans something I know they’ve wanted for a while. The G’s together is an exciting moment for everyone, and I’m glad I can share this moment with my friend and someone I truly admire.”
