Reggaeton superstar Becky G released her new single “NO MIENTEN,” and announced that it’s part of her forthcoming album ESQUEMAS.

Becky G never ceases to surprise us. It seems like at least every month, we get new music from the Latin star, and we’re not complaining! Just in February, she joined forces with KAROL G for “MAMIII,” which has become a worldwide sensation and hasn’t stopped trending on the charts ever since.
Now, Becky is sharing her new solo single “NO MIENTEN,” and it’s honestly such as bop! Even if you don’t speak Spanish, you’ll be able to enjoy this tune, as it has plenty of danceable music that will make you move from the start.
The song talks about Becky having a new guy in her life, but he always denies having strong feelings toward her. That is, unless he’s drinking. “You can lie again. But I am clear about what you feel. Last night you let out an “I love you.” And they say drunks don’t lie,” Becky sings in Spanish.
“NO MIENTEN” Comes Ahead of Her Sophomore Album ESQUEMAS
And there’s going to be plenty of more new music coming from the reggaeton star, as “NO MIENTEN” will form part of her upcoming studio album ESQUEMAS, set for release on May 13. Fans will be able to recognize some other songs in the album already, as the tracks “FULANITO,” “Ram Pam Pam” and “MAMIII” will all be included in the project as well. The rest of the tracklist still has yet to be announced.
Becky’s last studio album was 2020’s MALA SANTA, which also served as her debut album. It featured hit songs like “DOLLAR,” “Sin Pijama” and “Mayores.” Since then, she has collaborated with an array of artists, including Sofia Reyes, Burna Boy, Ozuna, Snoop Dogg, Arcangel, Myke Towers, Maluma, Julia Michaels, Maria Becerra, Christina Aguilera, and plenty more.
