Bad Bunny Has the Most Streamed Album in Spotify History with “Un Verano Sin Ti”

Most streamed album in Spotify history. And it couldn’t be otherwise. Bad Bunny has revolutionized the genre becoming an icon worldly recognized for his ability. It doesn’t matter if you are white, black, latino, gay, straight. One thing it’s sure: you probably listen to Bad Bunny’s songs.

‘Un Verano Sin Ti’ , released in May 2022, has so many hits that it’s almost impossible to count all of them. Moscow Mule, ‘Me Porto Bonito’, ‘Titi Me Pregunto’, ‘Tarot’… but also ‘Neverita’, ‘Efecto’, ‘Party’, ‘Ojitos Lindos’ and ‘Callaita’ have been played for all the 2022 summer. And after more than one year the success of this album continues. Signs that Bad Bunny is much more than just a trend.

With a total of 13.5 million views, ‘Un Verano Sin Ti’ left behind great exponents of music such as Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Drake. The 23 tracks of the album explores reggaeton further, but the Puerto Rican singer also decided to navigate unknown waters like bossa nova, merengue, alternative, mambo , and many more.

Bad Bunny’s latest record is the artist’s fifth consecutive album to debut #1 on the Top Latin Albums chart. As well as on the Latin Rhythm Albums chart. It sold 274 thousand units, equivalent to more than 356.55 million reproductions. It was also the first album in Spanish to be nominated for the Anglo Grammy Awards for Best Record of the Year.
