Music Icons in 2025 Super Bowl Ads

The Super Bowl is here, and people keep showing up—whether it’s for the love of football, the ads, or just to argue about everything online.

Some people love the X’s and O’s of hard-hitting football. Some people tune in to the Super Bowl just for the commercials (shoutout to Mountain Dew’s unhinged Puppy Monkey Baby ad from 2016). Others are only here for the halftime show. And let’s be honest—maybe a few hundred thousand are just watching to see Taylor Swift cheer on Travis Kelce (I’ll keep my opinions on that to myself).

Either way, the Super Bowl is still the event of the year, and if last year’s 123.7 million viewers are any indication, people will keep showing up—whether it’s for the love of football, the ads, or just to argue about anything and everything online.

Musicians Owning the Super Bowl On & Off the Field

Regardless of how you’re watching the Super Bowl this Sunday—nachos in hand or burgers and hot dogs on deck—musicians will be everywhere on the screen. You’ve got Kendrick Lamar, fresh off his Grammy sweep, dominating halftime with guest star SZA. Then there’s Taylor Swift, likely sporting Chiefs’ red in the team’s suite, rallying behind Travis Kelce. And maybe the most star-studded roster of the night, with musical talent that’ll be gracing your TV screens in commercials. It’s a musical takeover, and right after the Grammys, who can complain?

Barring a few surprises, most brands have already dropped their full-length commercials, with a few teasers sneaking in before the fireworks. USA TODAY is calling it: this year, the average price of a 30-second spot is a whopping $7 million—some even pushing $8 million. With budgets like that, it’s no surprise that companies securing spots in Super Bowl 59 are bringing in some serious musical talent to make sure their commercials are unforgettable.

Shania Twain x Coffee Mate’s New Cold Foam Ad

Coffee Mate’s new Cold Foam is bringing the smoothness to the Super Bowl with ‘A Lotta Fun’—plus an exclusive sneak peek at a brand-new song from the Queen of Country Pop herself, Shania Twain!

Snoop Dogg & Tom Brady Challenge Antisemitism

Two living legends—one on the field, one in the studio—Snoop Dogg and Tom Brady team up to call out hate for what it is: straight-up stupid. With their different worlds colliding on the biggest stage in television, they’re here to remind everyone that respect wins every time. Nothing but excellence from the two, which comes as no surprise.

Post Malone x Bud Light

Bud Light is back with another ice-cold ad, and Texas’ favorite rapper, Post Malone, couldn’t be more pumped! This time, he’s crashing a cul-de-sac party with comedian Shane Gillis and Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning for a minute of brews and Super Bowl magic. As for how he feels about starring in his fourth Bud Light Super Bowl commercial? “The best way to describe it? HELL YEAH,” says Post Malone.

Seal & Becky G x Mountain Dew

Mountain Dew is back with another wild Super Bowl ad, and this time, Becky G and SEAL are trying the new Baja Blast, almost. The twist? SEAL looks a bit different. In a hilarious play on Kiss from a Rose, the flippered legend belts out a ballad about the tragedy of not being able to hold a bottle.

Charli XCX & Martha Stewart x Uber Eats

The new queen of pop and the iconic queen of bops team up for a 30-second Uber Eats ad. I’d try to explain it, but honestly… it’s either not for me or it just went over my head.

Doja Cat x Taco Bell

Doja Cat’s been a Taco Bell ad crush, even covering Hole for them a few years ago. But this time, she’s handing the spotlight off to the fans with Taco Bell’s Live Más Drive-Thru Cams. Snap a pic with these funky arches, and you might find yourself in the next Taco Bell ad. Only one problem, is it gonna take 30 minutes to get a Crunchwrap Supreme now?

Shaboozey x Nerds Candy

Shaboozey drops a fresh take on “What a Wonderful World” to hype up the new NERDS Gummy Clusters—because what’s not wonderful about a world filled with meteor-shaped, rainbow-colored candy?

Other Super Bowl Artists to Look Out For

Other artists confirmed to light up your screen this Sunday include H.E.R. for Dove, and Hailee Steinfeld with Novartis. Every year brings surprise cameos, so who’s it gonna be this time? Tune in to Super Bowl 59 to find out!
