Headlining the event were some major industry powerhouses: Cardi B, Niall Horan, Anitta, Peso Pluma, Renee Rapp and Charlie Puth. Moreover, the event also featured artists Isabel Larosa, Kaliii and Sam Barber. Available to those who RSVPed online, this marked the first of many years of In The Mix. The event’s purpose is to bring live music to fans around the world, on the platform we all know and love.

Artists were divided onto two stages: the main stage for headliners, and the Tower stage for the Elevate crew (TikTok’s program for rising artists.) Kicking off with Charlie Puth on the main stage, and closing out with Cardi B, In The Mix was jam-packed with killer performances from start to finish.

No other platform mixes music, creativity and community like TikTok. With In The Mix, our goal is to bring the For You feed to life for fans at the venue and on TikTok. Our vision is to create a show that is reimagined for the TikTok era and our music-loving global community.

In The Mix Highlights

With performances beginning at 6pm EST, In The Mix was filled with highlight moments. One notable part includes a throwback moment with Niall Horan singing One Direction’s “Story of my Life.” Moreover, we got to witness an energetic collab between Peso Pluma and Anitta on their latest “BELLAKEO.” Anitta carried the energy over into her own set, showcasing a sultry set with help from a team of dazzling back-up dancers. Charlie Puth brought out a surprise guest when he enlisted Jung Kook of BTS to perform “Left and Right” with him. Sadly, it was only on a screen behind him. Speaking of surprise guests—Offset also popped in for a couple songs.

All in all, In The Mix was a successful event that showcased many influential artists. It was a great way to close out a massive year from music. Even better, fans around the world were able to take part of the iconic event. We are already looking forward to TikTok’s In The Mix for 2024! Any guesses to who might headline for next year?
