Tori Kelly is making her return to the stage after encountering medical issues earlier this summer.
Tori’s Back and Taking Control
Early August, Tori Kelly took to Instagram and announced the Take Control Tour for the month of September. Kicking off in Toronto, Kelly will then bring her latest EP, tori, to life in major cities across the United States. She will be making her way from coast to coast, closing out the fall tour with two dates in Los Angeles.
Only last month, Kelly lost consciousness and was hospitalized during a night out with friends. Despite this, she did not let anything get in the way of sharing her latest music with fans. The day before tori was released, Kelly shared a heartfelt message with fans after canceling the promotion she intended for her EP. She posted a photo of a handwritten note on Instagram dedicated to those who expressed concerns over her health. It read:
“Until I see you again, I still want you to enjoy a project that represents the happy place I’ve been in the last few years. I’m not going to let this obstacle get in the way of your music on Friday! I adore you all and am absolutely touched by the outpouring of love and concern. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!”

Only a few weeks after this post, Tori Kelly officially announced her return to performing. Fans responded in the comments with an outpouring of love and excitement over seeing Kelly in good health and spirits after her health scare. After all, who wouldn’t be stoked at the possibility of catching a Grammy award-winning artist in person? We know we’re looking forward to seeing Tori back on the road again!
