Many listeners know the classic Taylor Swift song, “All Too Well.” When the singer released Red (Taylor’s Version), fans instantly fell in love with “All Too Well (10 Minute Version).” The song includes extra verses and lyrics that tear at Swifties’ hearts. As if the release of Red (Taylor’s Version) couldn’t get any better, Swift then shared All Too Well: The Short Film. The film that starred Dylan O’Brien, Sadie Sink, and the singer herself. Fans everywhere were in awe upon first viewing, impressed by the cinematography and storytelling of the film. Check it out below!
Dade Hayes from Deadline says that Swift described her “secret-agent-y” strategies of keeping certain information from the cast and crew of the film. Anyone at the festival’s panel could tell she was serious about her craft and its expansion to film. Clearly, Swift put a lot of thought and effort into this project. She not only directed the film, but also wrote, produced, and starred in it.
As a surprise to fans, the film’s couple was brought out for the latter half of the panel, and at the end, Swift performed the song on her acoustic guitar.
What’s Next for the Multi-Hyphenate?
Swift has already mentioned how she would love to participate in the creation of another film. At the festival, Mills asked Swift if she would ever be interested in directing more films, short and full-length. “I would love to,” she responded. “It would be so fantastic to write and direct something.”
Swift has also been teasing 1989 (Taylor’s Version), so Swifties are getting ready for that and more as the star continues to release new, extended versions of her beloved albums.
