Sia Links Up With Yandel & Sofia Reyes For “1+1” Remix

Global star Sia linked up with Reggaeton heroes Yandel and Sofia Reyes for a new version of her hit “1+1,” and it sounds like a fresh breath of air.

Sia Just Unveiled the Soundtrack for Music

While the original version of “1+1” appears in Sia’s latest album Music which takes part as the soundtrack of her first directed and produced film; the global artists united in the Banx & Ranx remixed version of it.

The Canadian duo Banx & Ranx seamlessly combined the musical styles of Sia, Sofía Reyes, and Yandel in a refreshing tropical song fused with elements of reggaeton. The result – a super catchy song that will make you get up and dance – even if you don’t feel like it.

Sofia Feels Blessed About the Collaboration

Sia wrote “1+1” with her longtime collaborator Jesse Shatkin. Reyes and Yandel wrote their new Spanish verses to the song. “I am very grateful to Sia for inviting me to participate in this song. Feel blessed by the opportunity. I had always dreamed of doing something with her and now it has come true. I can confirm that dreams do come true ”, Sofia expressed in a statement.

While promoting the single in her Instagram account, Sofia added, “I ain’t trying to play it cool, this is A DREAM. What a blessing to share with two artists that I admire immensely. Pure magic.”

Sia’s biggest hits include “Chandelier,” “Cheap Thrills” with Sean Paul, and “The Greatest” with Kendrick Lamar. Successful singer-songwriter Yandel is one half of the Wisin y Yandel duo and a living reggaeton legend.

Just recently, Sofia unveiled her latest banger “Casualidad”. She teamed up with Boricua singer Pedro Capó for their collaboration that’s amassed over 6 million views on Spotify. Last month, Yandel dropped his joint album Dynasty with reggaeton hit-maker Tainy.
