Yebba Boomerangs Back with Live Performance of Hit Single

Last week, the soulful upcoming artist Yebba put together an amazing live performance for fans to tune into. The award-winning singer/songwriter now has a live version of her single “Boomerang” along with a video.

On the track, Yebba is accompanied by Charles Myers (Guitar), Burniss Travis (Bass), Malachi Mabson (Keys), & Justin Tyson (Drums). Much like the original track, this song has all the elements of a hit. From her amazing vocals to the band’s on-point instrumentals.

In addition to the sounds, the video is directed by Francesco Carrozini. The award-winning director also directed all the music videos for her debut album.

As one of the shining voices in today’s music, Yebba has reminded us with this performance who we should be looking out for in the future.

Yebba Stepping Into The Spotlight

The performance follows up on Yebba’s highly anticipated debut album Dawn that dropped in early September. The project produced by Mark Ronson, Questlove, A$AP Rocky, Smino, and more received huge acclaim.

From the lyrical content and production, she puts together a really beautiful project. With such a strong start to her career, there is no doubt she has some awards coming her way.

Dawn is the name of Yebba’s mother who she lost to suicide. Dawn also refers to the first glimpse of light in the sky after the darkness of night, offering a radiant sense of possibility with her debut album.

Yebba’s talent is also spotlighted on Drake’s just-released album Certified Lover Boy on “Yebba’s Heartbreak”.

Yebba has been a go-to collaborator for a-list musical talent for huge names like Ed Sheeran and Chance The Rapper. But now, she is stepping into the spotlight herself and not missing her mark.

Be on the lookout for more of Yebba dropping before the end of this year. But for now, check out her live performance as well as her new album.
