Fresh off her debut album, unamerican beauty, XYLØ goes on tour and stops by the Mercury Lounge in New York City to wow fans with a setlist full of fan favorites and throwbacks!
XYLØ Show Review
For being the LA native’s second show, there is no stiffness or awkwardness. Even with the show starting at 6:30 PM, the artist joked about the odd time and proceeded to show the audience a good time. A true professional! Soon into her set, the singer introduced pal Lee Newell who was on stage playing guitar for the entire show.
Dressed in a black lace catsuit seemed all too perfect, especially when performing the ill-fated, seductive “ride or die” from the 2019 EP, yes & no.
The setlist was a perfect mashup of past and present or the lead-up to XYLØ supremacy. Tackling newer tracks like the infectious rocker “sugar free rush” to “After Life” from 2016 (which also has the most streams on Spotify.)
However, it takes more than old and new songs to make a show good. It takes stage presence, vocals, stamina, and an overall good attitude. And if running through the crowd singing her latest single, “i love you (in an english accent)”, is not enough, maybe powering through an out-of-phrase mic is proof of talent?
And what happened after the show? XYLØ raced to the front to meet fans at the merch booth and chat.

Tour Information
There are only six shows left to see the singer, who is bringing openers Jillian Rosi and Molly Moore (on select dates.)
Long story short, Mercury Lounge wasn’t the same after XYLØ– in the best way possible. Highly recommend you see her. And if you can’t, stream her!
