Wallows release their second single “Especially You”

LA-based indie rock band Wallows release their second single Especially You.

Especially You

Recently, Wallows released their latest song Especially You. With a catchy melody, synths, a strong bass presence and a clean guitar sound, Wallows comes off – once again – as a key element of the indie scene in recent years.

Minnette commented the song and revealed the meaning behind it. “It’s about when you’re in the early stages of a relationship and you get so worried that the other person’s mind will change at the flip of a switch,” said the singer. “It’s about stressing over the smallest things for no reason, but it’s definitely self-aware about the fact that I’m doing this all to myself.”

Together with the song, the band also released a music video.

The song will be part of the band’s upcoming album. The band will release “Tell Me That It’s Over,” the new album, on March 25th and will include Septermber 2021’s single I Don’t Want To Talk.

The band’s origins

WallowsWallows is a Californian band formed by the singers and guitarists Braeden Lemasters and Dylan Minnette, and drummer Cole Preston. The trio formed when the members were children. At the age of eleven, Lemasters, Minnette and Preston even joined a music program in San Fernando Valley. Since then they worked together under different names. They finally released their first songs and records in 2017. Since their first single in 2017, Pleaser, the band has released an album “Nothing Happens” and an EP, “Remote.
Both Braeden Lemasters and Dylan Minnette are also famous for their acting roles. Minnette participated in the TV series “Thirteen Reasons Why” and movies as “Man In The Dark”, “Goosebumps” and “Scream.” He is also famous for his role in the tv series “Lost.” On the other hand, Lemasters joined the cast of movies like “A Christmas Story 2,” “T@gged” and “RL Stine’s Monsterville: Cabinet of Souls.”
