Vince Staples Lays Down The Law

Last Friday, the always grimy blunt Vince Staples released the first single off a whole new project expected to drop next month. The punchy instrumentals of this new heat introduces us back to the Long Beach native’s unique flow.

Law Of Averages” is a rappers track. With a spacey sample behind the hard 808’s, Vince Staples goes off speaking into existence  some of his new law. He makes his stance clear on money, women, and his violent lifestyle and he does it all with bars.

The video that also accompanied the new track has an interesting visual. It highlights that Vince may have all this money, and because of that most people put on a fake smile. We love the concept and although it may be a little creepy, it take us into the world of Vince Staples.

And if the video wasn’t enough for you to notice him, he made a pretty crazy announcement the same day.

Vince Staples The Album

Vince Staples has also announced that his new album will be a self-titled project produced entirely by Kenny Beats. This is huge news considering we haven’t seen a project from him since back in 2018 with FM!.

Before the time off, Vince was on a blaze releasing four albums year after year starting with what put him on the map Summertime ’06 (2015). After being out of the game for so long to listeners,  the fans might have played a role in this collaboration decision.

The internet sensation that is Kenny Beats is known for his live shows where he makes music with amazing musicians. In 2019 one of the people was Vince Staples. The music and video they made went viral and amassed over 4 million views on YouTube. Since then not only have people been begging for another freestyle, but up until today they were asking for a real collaboration.

Well now we have that and a lot more coming on July 9 so mark your calendars. And remember for more updates on artist you love, and the ones you should know about check in with MusicDaily.
