Valley Change the “Tempo” For New Summer Jam

Toronto-based indie-pop band Valley released their latest single. “Tempo” gives us a fresh summer, chill vibe.

A Song to Play After a Long Day

“Tempo” is a song that you will want to play during those days when you just want to relax and forget about the world. With their soothing vocals, the group gives us the ideal track to unwind after a long day at work.

The song marks Valley’s third single out this year so far. It follows up June’s “SOCIETY” and March’s “Like 1999”. On “Tempo,” as the song indicates, they indeed changed the tempo, as the last two songs are a little more upbeat. Nonetheless, we are loving the new vibe they are sharing.

Valley sing about taking some time to loosen up and not always be on the go. “We can change the tеmpo. I like it when we go slow. Thе way you movin’, the way you move is so pro. Like ’98, you Michael in Chicago, let’s go,” they sing in the chorus.

Valley Are Going on Tour This Fall

Valley explain, “Life is short and moves quickly. Taking a second to really experience things is so important these days. So lyrically, it’s about obsessing over a moment or someone in your life but in the sweetest and most pure of ways: From waking up with them in the morning to going out with them at night and existing together in the mundane …but it meaning the world to you. It’s wishing we could slow down time to experience each moment together more deeply. ‘Tempo’ is all about tension and release sonically.”

The band is also going on tour this Fall. After playing at two different music festivals in August and September in Columbus, Ohio, and Napa Valley, California, respectively; they will embark on the Rainbow Dreamland Tour accompanying COIN as their opening act. The tour starts on October 26 in Birmingham, Alabama, and ends on November 21 in Houston, Texas. You can find more information and tickets at http://www.thisisvalley.com/#tour
