RoadRunnner Plus Pack and The End Of BrockHampton?

Last week, Hip-Hop boy band Brockhampton released a gift after dropping one of the most anticipated projects of 2021. Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine Plus Pack is the latest album by the group that released in April of this year.

Now, in June, Brockhampton is back but with the deluxe version of the album. In contrast to the original 13 songs that came out before, we see the addition of four new songs added to the track-list.

The original saw features from the like of A$AP Rocky and Ferg, Danny Brown, and JPEGMAFIA. The plus pack is mainly songs just from the Brockhampton, but ssgkobe makes a slight appearance  in “PRESSURE/ BOW WOW“.

Before Roadrunner, the last time we heard the boy band, they showed a softer side of their music within their fifth studio album, 2019’s GingerRegardless, the album was still a hit and featured the hit single, “Sugar.” It marked the first time Brockhampton had a song on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100, peaking at number nine. It later became their first entry on the Billboard Hot 100, debuting at 70 and staying on the chart for nine weeks.

Despite seeing a surge of commercial success in 2019, Brockhampton has actually been steadily gaining influence ever since their Saturation trilogy in 2017. It seemed like early on the band had all the components of an all-star cast. With great singing, rapping, production, and content, the only thing the young band was missing was some wisdom.

End Of The Road For BrockHampton?

In the midst of what seemed to be a new era beginning for the beloved group. Fan were hit with some surprising hints of the band breaking up. Via social media Kevin Abstract, one of Brockhampton’s more outspoken member and lead vocalist tweeted out this.

This is leading many to think the next time we hear new music from them, might also be the last. We know the boys wouldn’t stop making music, it will be sad to see such a unique group separate.

For now nothing has been set in stone, and that is a good thing. Be on the lookout for the group to have tickets avaible for their 2022 Here Right Now tour this Friday June 11 HERE. And for more news about the artist you love and those you should know, check in with MusicDaily.
