Rapper Dr. Dre landed in the hospital after having a brain aneurysm

Dr. Dre was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Hospital.

This morning, TMZ was the first to report that Dr. Dre had suffered a brain aneurysm. While being treated for the brain aneurysm, the tabloid speculated the health issues could be due to a contentious divorce that he has been going through with his estranged wife, Nicole.

“As we reported, Nicole wants $2 million a month in temporary spousal support and $5 million for attorney fees, but Dre says he’s been paying all of her expenses, so the $2 mil demand was outlandish. He also says the attorney’s fees are outrageous since her lawyers have only been working on the case for a few months.”

Regardless, the rapper went on social media to update fans and let them know he is okay. While the post doesn’t mention his current condition, how long he will be in the hospital, or a current photo, he will be out of the hospital, and the gratitude he has for all of the love that people have been sending his way.

Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!
