Pauli Lovejoy Drops Groovy New Single ‘Milkyway’

A Stacked Career

London’s Pauli Lovejoy, also known as Pauli the PSM, has an impressive resume. They’ve worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, offering their ingenuity and creative spirit to artists like FKA twigs and Gorillaz. Pauli Lovejoy is also an integral part of Harry Styles’ band, bringing some explosive drumming for Love on Tour. They’ve DJ’ed for U2 shows, helped direct Jamie xx’s promos and performed for Africa Express. Earlier this year, they even modeled for the British clothing brand Ben Sherman, striking poses in adverts for the Spring/Summer 2023 lineup.

Pauli the PSM’s talents don’t stop there—they’re also an accomplished songwriter, with an album and multiple EPs available to stream. Most recently, they’ve put out “Milkyway,” a groovy, heartfelt track that proves just how talented Pauli Lovejoy is.

Pauli Lovejoy’s Latest Venture

“Milkyway,” featuring French Braids, slows things down after Lovejoy’s previous energetic release, “Saucy” with Ariza. It has a cozy feel highlighted by its fluid vocals and chunky basslines, punctuated with smooth saxophone towards the end of the song. With tranquil vocals, Pauli the PSM sings about the importance of listening more than we speak, backed up by carefully placed details in the background. Each listen offers something new to discover, whether that is the impressive vocal range or fluid instrumentation. Hypnotizing synthesizer loops mesh with subtle beats as Lovejoy floats seamlessly between rapping and singing. “Milkyway” ultimately acts as a warm and inviting journey that is aptly named.

The London artist will be bringing their talents live on their upcoming tour, kicking off in California in December. They’ll also be performing in Glasgow, Dublin, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, London, Antwerp, Paris, Copenhagen, Berlin, Cologne and Rotterdam. Tickets are available for purchase on their website.
