Kim Mi So (김미소), famously known by her music name Miso (미소), is a South Korean singer-songwriter and producer. The artist started working in 2016, when she debuted as an independent artist. In December of that year, she dropped her first song, the digital single “Take Me.”
However, since 2020, Miso started working under you.will.knovv. In fact, between the release of her first single and the following hit “Alone,” released in 2020, four years passed with complete silence from the artist. However, since then, Miso seems unstoppable, and her creativity and productivity are infinite. The singer first shared her EP Metanoia in 2020, followed by her first complete studio album Raw Gems Vol.1 two years later. With millions of listens on Spotify and an exponentially increasing number of loyal fans, the 31-year-old singer is finding her own corner in the music industry.
Emotions
The fourth single of the year for South Korean K hip pop singer, “Emotions,” arrives after the release of her single “Fallin” and two-song EP, Gritty. Gritty contains tracks “Riches” and “Where Did I Go.”
“Emotions” presents Miso’s usual sound, often recurrent in her work. The song presents underground tones of post-punk, minimal wave, and digital music tending towards vapor wave.
