After the success of Taylor Swift’s re-recording of “her” old albums, Kelly Clarkson is contemplating re-recording her early hits!

Following the footsteps of Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift was Snubbed by the Grammys

Taylor Swift kick off what now could be a new trend. Re-recording some of her biggest success, including her All Too Well (Sad Girl Autumn Version) and album Red (Taylor’s Version), the singer is now claiming the rights on her songs and records. But what began because of some controversies, seems now to be an inspiration for other artists. In fact, Kelly Clarkson is considering re-recording her songs as well! And not for legal, economic or pride reasons. The artist said, indeed that she prefers how her voice sounds now. “I would. It’s because I feel my voice is stronger than it was when I was 19,” said the 39-year-old star to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre. “I feel like my range is bigger and it is a different voice.”

Kelly Clarkson on re-recording her hits

Kelly ClarksonIt would be “really fun” to follow in the footsteps of Taylor Swift, said Kelly Clarkson.

Despite not having the necessity to do so, she’d love to hear how the songs would turn out. As a matter of fact, she would do it just for fun. “At this stage of my life it would be really fun to do,” she stated.

“It would be interesting to record the songs that I love and even some of the hits that I actually can’t listen to because sometimes the producer keeps you there for so long because they want it exact,” Kelly commented.

Starting from her rise on the first season of “American Idol” in 2002, the artist has come a long way. And with all her singles and albums behind, the singer has nothing to lose. Moreover, her role as a judge in The Voice, alongside with Ariana Grande, John Legend and Blake Shelton, and plus as a two time Emmy winner as an enterainment host on her own TV show, “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” the artist has huge support.

This will make her singles a guaranteed success, and we can’t wait to listen!
