Jessie Ware Drops “Please” Amid BRITS Nominations

A new song from the soulful pop star Jessie Ware? We’ll take it! Another way to support the BRITS nominated songstress? We’ll take that, too!

BRITS Excitement

The 2021 BRIT Awards are right around the corner! The famed UK-basde award show is airing on May 11. Jessie Ware is just one of many talented artists who are up for prestigious awards. Some of the most notable and highly anticipated acts are Dua Lipa and Harry Styles. (Clearly, Britain has some serious talent in the pop music category, whether it’s electro-pop, indie pop, or pop rock.)

Celebrating that is important and worthwhile for the talented artists part of the soon-to-be special night. As the event grew closer, Jessie Ware wanted to release some more music. Her music is her career, her livelihood, and her passion, after all.

The success she’s garnered from it is immense and releasing new work is a way to thank her fans. She’s nominated for MasterCard Album Of the Year for her record, What’s Your Pleasure?. In honor of that, she’s releasing a deluxe version of the acclaimed album.

What’s Your Pleasure? The Platinum Pleasure Edition is out a month after The BRIT Awards on June 11. The lead single and additional track to the original is “Please.” This new song touches on the best of modern pop music with a wonderful undertone of rhythm and blues. It also adds to the cohesive essence of the album it’s set to be on.

“Please” Is The Pinnacle of Jessie Ware’s Sleek Sensuality

Jessie Ware has an energy about her that is unlike most pop icons. She is also strong-willed in her lyricism, suave in her sensuality, and groovy in her production. Altogether, What’s Your Pleasure?: The Platinum Pleasure Edition is sure to illuminate every one of these unique traits. Flawlessly, “Please” sets the stage for that. (And it’s only one of the upcoming six new, synth-pop tracks!)

The new single is meant for fans to dance freely to. The project as a whole is synth-pop done right, meaning it’s very groovy and even more fun. There’s an element of 1970s club music within it, as well as the tantalizing excitement of mid-eighties pop. Jessie Ware exudes power and effervescence as both a performer and a songwriter. “Please” owns up to this star’s feminist and musician-based strengths, while giving credence to her nominations, such as Best Female Solo Artist.

In a press release, the lovely talent that is Jessie Ware chats about these new and upcoming releases. “I had such an amazing response to the What’s Your Pleasure? record that I didn’t want the lights to go up and the party to be over just yet! ‘Please’ is full of optimism and ready to be played in a place where we can all be together and flirt, dance, touch, and kiss. A wonderful excuse not to stop the party from ending.”

We love to support this well-rounded artist on her journey to the BRIT Awards. Listening to “Please” is just one way to do that.
