Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports Signs Deal With Italy’s Serie A Soccer League

Jay-Z is expanding his sports roster. In fact, the agreement between Roc Nation Sports and Serie A to promote and expand Italian soccer in the United States is official. To sanction this union, the Italian league landed in NYC on Times Square’s billboards, one of the most iconic places in the world. A video with engaging content, which has collected the most beautiful images of Serie A, created by the RNSI production team, was broadcast in recent days on the largest screen in New York.

Details:

Thanks to the consolidated presence of Roc Nation in the sectors of culture, sport and entertainment, the League aims to establish important connections with some of the most important brands in the USA. Roc Nation will also support Serie A in the implementation and amplification of the League’s social responsibility projects, such as the “Keep Racism Out” awareness campaign.

Roc Nation and Serie A have had a working partnership since 2019. In 2020 at the height of the covid pandemic, the agency inked a deal with leading Serie A side AC Milan to host an event to raise support for key workers. The event was hosted by DJ Khaled and featured performances from artists such as Alicia Keys and Kelly Rowland. All proceeds went to charity. The pair later announced a full partnership.

Comments:

Speaking of the recent deal, Roc Nation’s president Michael Yormark said: “We are super excited to help Serie A expand its brand throughout America while helping to develop meaningful commercial partnerships along with enhanced brand visibility that will lead to continued growth for one of the world’s premier football leagues”.

A partnership which will probably help both parts to achieve their goals in terms of visibility and development. The US are tired of being behind in soccer, and finally want to exploit their full potential.
