IDK Shoots His Shot On A New Single With Offset

New Heat, New Opportunities

The up and coming Maryland based rapper IDK just dropped some new heat along side hip-hop legend Offset. They came together for this high energy banger, “SHOOT MY SHOT,” and have a music video to go with it.

IDK first popped onto hip-hop fan’s radar in 2019 after two of his song were featured on the video game, Madden NFL 19. “24” and “Digital,” off of the debut studio project Is He Real?left great impressions on a huge crowd.

Ever since getting signed to Warner Records, IDK has been consistent in making singles. In addition, IDK decided to drop a mixtape (IDK & FRIENDS 2) in 2020 with some pretty big rap company, such as Denzel Curry and A$AP Ferg.

After that, IDK hit us with two more singles. The first single closed out 2020 in a pretty fashionable way with “2 Cents.” Just this past March “Just Like Martin” dropped and showcased more of the rapper’s unique flow and personality. Two great singles, but not big hits.

However, throughout all of this hard work, IDK did not caught a glimpse of the spotlight he had since 2019. That is, until right now.

IDK Shoots His Shot

SHOOT MY SHOT” is the brand new single from the rising talent and also features one of the Migos: Offset. The high siren West Coast feel highlights IDK’s creativity, making the song’s hook is pretty catchy.

Of course, Offset comes in with his veteran flow that started the whole trap genre in the first place. The two do a good job with mixing their individual rap flows and the entire piece as a whole shows how far each rapper has come.

Overall, this ambitious sound we are hearing from IDK surpasses what put him on the map to begin with. The young musician seems to be shooting his shot like never before. We will see if he scores with it.

In the meantime, checkout the music video down below and be on the lookout for a big project from IDK.
