Harry Styles aims once again to break the mold and defeat stereotypes with its new collection of nail polishes and skincare. In fact, after publicly wearing nail polish for more than two years, the singer finally made available now to order his beauty line, Pleasing.
The site, which features both the skincare line and nail polish collection, went online on November 4th.
Nail polish will come in four different colours: black, white, pink and a pearly translucent color. The four nail polish set will be sold for 65$. Only the Perfect Pearl Polish and Pearly Tops Polish are available individually. The price of these two nail polish is $20 each. Moreover, each nail polish comes with a set of alphabetic decals that will allow fans to write messages on their fingers.
The skincare line includes the Pleasing Pen for 30$ and the Pearlescent Illuminating Serum for $35. Both the skincare products present lip and eye treatments on either end.
Harry Styles’ and Pleasing ethic
Harry Styles discussed his collection with Dazed. “It’s starting with nail polish, because that was kind of the birth of what it was for,” Styles said. “Me seeing a color on a flower or a wallpaper or something and thinking, ‘Oh, I wanna put that on my nails.’ It was a fun little project, but during the pandemic, and when we eventually named it Pleasing, it felt like it was so much more than nail polish.”
According to Harry Styles’ comments, Pleasing will focus on a feeling of community, sustainability and collaboration. “Though we prioritize people and the planet, we know we can always do better and strive to do so everyday. We celebrate the kindness and optimism in our community and the future we all are creating together,” he added.
In addition, he also explained the reason of the name of the beauty brand. “We’re a life brand that moves to wherever there’s something pleasing to be found. Our mission is to bring joyful experience and products that excite the senses and blow the boundaries. We’re pleasing, never perfect,” Styles says.
