Last Thursday, June 10, one of the forefathers of ATL Trap Music Gucci Mane released a new track with a video. The East Atlanta Santa has gifted us “Like 34 & 8” featuring trap star Poo Shiesty. And with summer almost in full swing, Gucci has a lot more in store.
This the most recent single we’ve heard from Gucci in a minute. The last time we heard Gucci was back in 202o on a couple of features including Doja Cat. Since then he’s only made one 2021 appearance on the waves. Now with the help of Poo Sheisty, Gucci is getting his name out there just in time for the new album.
Poo Sheisty is coming off of a huge 2021 drop of a his latest mixtape Shiesty Season. The mix tape showed his versatility and now he’s backing up one of the biggest names in rap.

Gucci Mane Is The Ice Daddy
Be on the look out also for the new full-length studio album coming from the veteran later this month titled Ice Daddy. The album is set to drop on June 18 and will feature 17-songs on the track list. Gucci is keeping a tight lock on his tracks, all we know for now are the singles that we’ve heard. Although no song titles have been revealed, the two leading singles for the project– “Sh*t Crazy (feat. BIG30) and “Like 34 & 8” (feat. Poo Shiesty)– have given us a good indicator of what to expect.
It is good to hear the trap legend pick up the mic again, especially while running his own label. And while I don’t believe Gucci is going have anything groundbreaking to offer, it is still a treat for his die-hard fans. Overall the music is good to see, but Ice Daddy to me doesn’t seem like an instant classic, but we still have 15 more song to listen to…
