Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Fest 2024 is Canceled
This June, Guy Fieri was going to bring two days’ worth of flavor to Columbus, Ohio. His inaugural Flavortown Fest was coming to Fieri’s hometown on June 1-2. The festival was taking place at The Lawn at CAS.
Unfortunately, the festival has been canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances.” According to CBS 42, in a statement shared with Nextstar’s WCMH, a spokesperson confirmed the cancellation. “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Fest, initially planned for June 1-2 in Columbus, OH, has been canceled,” they said. “Thank you to all our Flavortown Fest fans for understanding and your support along this journey.”
The organizers of the festival are issuing full refunds to everyone who purchased passes. Additionally, $10,000 will be donated to the three charity partners who would have benefitted from the festival’s proceeds.
Flavortown Fest was to be a festival unlike any other. Aside from music, shows and games, there was also going to be cook-offs and chef demos. Additionally, there were going to be ways for the festival-goers to give back to the community.
In terms of music, there was going to be a little something for everyone. Aside from Greta Van Fleet and Kane Brown, Flavortown was going to host several other artists, such as Bret Michaels, LoCash and Niko Moon.
