Rising pop-punk star GAYLE is back with her new single “ur just horny,” arriving on the heels of her smash hit “abcdefu.”

You probably have heard about GAYLE already, and if you haven’t; where have you been in the last couple of months?! The pop-punk rising star first made waves with her smash hit “abcdefu” last year; just as she signed with Atlantic Records. The song has dominated both Billboard Global charts. The song topped multiple other charts (including Digital Song Sales, Alternative Streaming Songs, and Alternative Digital Song Sales.) It also just climbed into the Top 10 as she performed on The Tonight Show and announced her upcoming headlining tour.
Well, it looks like we’re gonna hear a lot from GAYLE this year. “Ur just horny” arrives as the perfect follow-up to “abcdefu,” as it talks about knowing when a boy only wants to hang out with you because of his own necessities, rather than him being interested in you. “You don’t wanna be friends, you’re just horny. And fucked up at 2 a.m. in the mornin’. Say you’ve changed and you mean it. Say everything’s different, but I think I’d rather sleep in,” GAYLE sings in the chorus.

“‘ur just horny’ is about the time I crossed the line in a friendship that I thought was platonic for years,” GAYLE says. “After crossing the line I noticed that they started treating me differently. They weren’t as nice and outgoing and honestly I couldn’t recognize them anymore. I started catching them in little lies and my mind couldn’t help but wonder what else they’d lied to me about before. Writing ‘ur just horny’ for me was coming to that realization that they didn’t want to be my friend they just wanted to get into my pants – and that hurt. It’s hard to separate platonic, romantic, and sexual feelings and sometimes in friendships, the lines can get blurry.”
