At only 19 years old, the haunting vocals of Isabel LaRosa have only just recently emerged into the world of music. And we think they’re here to stay.
Like so many others, the COVID-19 pandemic halted the lives of everyone around the world. Isabel LaRosa is an example of using the time stuck at home for something greater than herself. In the midst of her time in high school, Isabel was no stranger to the passions found in music. Growing up surrounded by salsa and classic rock from her parents, she and her brother were frequently exposed to art from a young age. Witnessing her brother and father playing at open mic nights growing up, it was only a matter of time before Isabel became a musician herself.
Then began her journey as a songwriter. She’d write songs in her childhood bedroom—a ritual that has followed her to the present day. What began as a hobby quickly developed into something much more fulfilling. And COVID gave her the time to delve into this untapped talent and turn it into a life-changing career.

TWO MONTHS AGO MY BROTHER AND I WROTE A SONG CALLED “HAUNTED.” WE WANTED TO CREATE SOMETHING THAT FELT LIKE IT COULD BE IN THE SHOW “EUPHORIA”. Before Isabel and her brother could even finish the track, “Haunted” took off on TikTok in 2022. Its virality came as a surprise and provided the much-needed push to release music on a larger scale. And, to a much larger audience, thanks to social media. Since, Isabel has dropped seven singles, plus her EP earlier this year, YOU FEAR THE GOD THAT LOVES YOU. In addition, she’s also now signed to RCA Records—the first step toward a long and enriching career, we’re sure.
